During your emergency appointment, the dentist will examine your teeth and gums to identify the cause of your problem. Depending on your symptoms, an X-ray or other diagnostic examination may be required to assess the affected tooth.
Once the cause of the problem has been identified, your dentist will explain the treatment options available to you. Emergency treatment may include a temporary filling, repairing a damaged tooth, treating an infection, removing a tooth when necessary or providing further treatment such as root canal treatment.

To make your visit as pleasant as possible, you may be given a local anaesthetic. If you’re a nervous patient, dental sedation may also be provided at Premier Dental.
